In early December I went to visit the tree at Rockefeller center. It is always surprising seeing the tree. Not only because of how tall it is but because of the unique feel Rockefeller center gets because of the lighting of the tree.

For decades the tree has signified the beginning of the holiday season. This reporting will be a mixture of history about the annual event at Rockefeller center

While also hearing from a couple of visitors about their thoughts on the tree and the lighting of the tree, and what it means to them seeing the tree at Rockefeller center.
